The Red Centre - Rural Ladies Award was created to recognise, honour, and celebrate the extraordinary women who keep life on the land thriving across the Central Desert region. As the only award of its kind in our region, it shines a well-deserved spotlight on the women whose contributions often go unacknowledged, despite being vital to the survival, strength, and success of rural and remote communities.

This award celebrates women who demonstrate Leadership, Resilience, Commitment, Dedication, Hard work & Strength

From managing cattle stations, raising families, volunteering, supporting education, handling mustering, running businesses, and holding communities together, rural women do it all. The award exists to recognise their courage, contribution, and heart.

2023 winners - Kylie Jones, Rebecca Cadzow & Kiya Gill

2024 winners - Amber Driver, Donna Digby & Helen Kunze

2025 winners - Ley Kunoth, Grainne Martin & Laura Heaslip
